Merry Christmas!

Just a quick note to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah for those of my Jewish friends.

I have to also wish my parents a happy 50th wedding anniversary. Due to my father's call to serve in the Navy and be in California three days after Christmas, my parents were married Christmas Day and are still so very in love. They are my inspiration and some day I hope that I will have that same happiness. I am working towards it daily. And, yes, I know that it is work, it does not just "happen".

I also want to share these three images....

This is the front of the first card from SF. What a thoughtful gesture to search for a card with red rose buds on it knowing how much they mean to me....

Inside the gift bag, was this blue box...... and this was inside....SF took the time to listen to what was important and when she was certain, she set out to find the perfect gift. I was so surprised to open it and I was so nervous that I couldn't even put it on myself.

That's all for now...I'm off to get everything gathered up and ready to head to dinner with SF and our friends and their family....look out boys, I bet you got toys that I might like....
