Spring Gardening

What a busy weekend. We spent the entire weekend either cleaning up flower beds from the winter or watching basketball. I love March Madness! Go Rutgers! Go Ohio!

The fower beds in the front are almost all done.....two more to clean and one to build. The back yard has more work but we will have to be careful, as we have a nesting mourning dove and a nesting blue jay. Thank goodness we have a procted wildlife preserve status.

I read my Sarah pattern and will be starting my swatch tomorrow. I am so excited.

Now for some new shots of the cats...

What a Day!

Life back at work this week after a vacation has been "fun". Between catching up on email, mail, and daily activities I am glad that tomorrow I only work a half day.

I have been teaching myself HTML code and my head is about to explode. I can't get my button to work and it will be the death of me.

I can't wait until tomorrow to go and get my yarn for the KAL that I will be doing for the Sahara sweater with the Sexy Knitter Club!

This is the very button that I can't make work......

Home to catch up on laundry from vacation and all the yard work that awaits. My only comfort is the fact that I have all afternoon tomorrow to pick yarn and then get one last WIP done before the April 1st start of the KAL.

Planning the Next Vacation

Silly me. I just ended a week in sunny Florida and now I;m back at work trying to figure out what to do with my next week of vacation.

Where should I go? What do I want to see? More important, where will the crowds not be?

I'll be looking over the local state-wide attractions and then I'll move to possible targets near Ohio and/or Iowa. Just in case I want to see Mom and Dad too.

I'll keep you posted with possibilities......
