I wish I had some one to make this for....

If ever I wanted to make something for a little one's birthday, this is it. I found it here. According to the post, "The food-grade silicone is able to withstand the heat from a 500-degree oven, as well as the radiation from a microwave, prodding from a metal utensil, and the chilly temperatures from a freezer. And it's only $14.99 from Linens 'n Things."

Linens 'n Things is one of my favorite places for the new and unusual. This qualifies as that. So, if you have little ones of your own or you are able to influence some one's little ones, get this and tell me how much fun it is. I will live vicariously through you until I have human grand kids.

Too cute! My MIL is the cake decorator in the family... I wonder how she'd feel about getting this for her birthday. :) Thanks for the giggle, it looks like fun.

That's adorable. I showed it to Ella, and she said it looked like a knitting project. She couldn't believe it was a cake, but now she wants to make one. Maybe for her half-birthday (we celebrate those in our house...)!

And why can't you make one for wifey? I know I'd like a cake like that!

That's a lovely cake! I made a train one when my oldest turned 2 years ago, he loved it! I might make it again for Oliver's 3rd birthday.

I have a couple of the silicone pans. I used my hearts pan as a jello mold and did jiggler hearts for my son's class. They love it - something different on Valentine's day!
