Noro

Feast your eyes on my latest sock yarn. It is being gingerly held by my favorite Miss America piece from our depression glass collection. I do not know what pattern I will choose, but I am open to suggestions.

I love Noro--I'm doing Lizard Ridge in Kureyon, and I adore Silk Garden. Now I really want to try the sock yarn!!

I haven't had the pleasure of having it in my hands yet... I am not even sure if it's available in the UK anyway as ever anything takes it's time to make an appearance in this country.

I saw a sample of the sock yarn knit in a plain pattern at a LYS in Portland. When I get some of the sock yarn, I don't plan to use a special pattern just because I think the color changes are what make this yarn so attractive and that's what I want to emphasize (Might not be as fun as a knitting pattern though).

I have knit with this beautiful yarn. I did Monkey. Some detail but not enough to take away from the color. They also really get softer after wearing and washing.
